    The Ark Encounter - Kentucky
The Ark Encounter was opened on July 7, 2016 and it's the full replica based on a Biblical scale. It's 510 feet long, 85 feet wide and 51 feet high. It's operated by Answers in Genesis, a group that also runs the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky. This is a theme park, zoo, restaurant and museum. It's located in Grant County Kentucky and is open year-round. There were well over one million visitors during it's first year of operation from July 2016 - July 2017. There are models of Dinosaurs, massive timbers in the center and multiple decks with attractions.

Well, It's good looking *_ but only from the inside_* not what I would call a -cool- err 'Kool' building _per se._ For an initial outlay of around $100 million + continuous maintenance and upkeep, it's a blot on the landscape. It just won't float :0)

This is a perfect testimony of Christian priorities... Spend $100 million to build a replica of a ship from a fictional story and try to convince people that it's true. $100 million that could have been used to feed and house the homeless or cancer research or many other things besides this useless eyesore.

Creative and an Impressive build and all for what? The erroneous idea that we must put things into piles like good and bad people to justify violence, war and hatred of each other? Or perhaps the concept that God is so needy, petty and threatened by people that he needs to assign some eternal torment to some and others eternal happiness? That's not God sorry.

Should of built a real ark that could float, & gathered the lost, hungry & homeless people of the U.S. & built a modern city inside the ark, with gardens & taken chickens & other kinds of animals to produce eggs & other kinds of food & use their waste for the garden ect. Powered strickly by wind & solar power. Then tour the world so people onboard could show & tell the history & story of the ark. It would have helped people & had a purpose, instead of just spending money & then trying to gain it back. That's what the creator & his son were & are about, having a purpose in life & telling & teaching the world about the gift of salvation & the following of the creator's commandments. By doing this you would have helped & taught people, & the world would have seen & felt love, & purhaps it would have started a domino effect. May health, peace & love be abundant in your lives.

when is the Alice in Wonderland exhibit opening up , if you believe that all the animals on the planet survived for a year on a 500 foot boat , then Alice in Wonderland is a good exhibit to add on to this fictitious story ,what did the animals eat , for a year , one elephant would have needed 600 pounds of hay per day , lets see 600 pounds x 365 = 219000 pounds of hay x 2 = 438000 lbs of hay for 2 elephants 218 tons of hay , that's for one breed of elephants , 350 breeds of elephants on earth lions eat 25 pounds of meat per day x 365 = 9125 x 2 = 18250 , that's 9.125 tons of meat for a year bears eat 90 pounds of meat per day , 2 bears = 35 tons of meat for a year that's for 1 breed of bears , there are 7 different breeds on earth i could go on and on there must have been 10 refrigerated arks just to store the food your trying to tell us an old man and a women and 6 kids took care of all the animals on the planet , even dinosaurs , o ya , and what did the dinosaurs eat ? totally delusional , brain washed all of this on a 500 foot boat , really , oh , and don't forget to give $ to your church on Sunday , so this never happens again ,,,, oy vey , hey , believe if it makes you feel better about yourself , that's what makes you believe after all

So the Ark had Dinosaurs on it. DINOSAURS!!!??? And these dinosaurs were living peacefully with humans!!!??? And none of the predator animals were attacking, killing, and eating any of the prey animals??? And "why the Bible is true"??? And how long did it take these people working with modern tools and construction equipment to build this monumental lie? Oh, and this ark does "fit in" rather nicely with the Creation Museum; it's just as ludicrous!!! That there are any Americans who actually take this utter nonsense seriously is absolutely terrifying! Oh! Wait! I didn't see any bigfoots! Where were the bigfoots???

All you creationists. Your own CRS admits there is no "Noah's ARk" ever located http://www.snopes.com/fact-check/noah39s-ark-discovery/ "However, geologists from Andrew A. Snelling of Answers in Genesis to Lorence G. Collins of California State University Northridge’s Department of Geological Sciences have debunked the notion of Durupinar site as containing anything more than a completely natural geologic rock formation. The former, particularly, has published a point-by-point refutation of numerous claims made about the site, summarized briefly as follows: Claim: Metal detector surveys found a regular pattern of ‘hot spots’ which could be joined to reveal a regular pattern of ‘lines’ lengthwise and across the inside of the formation only. Reality: A standard beach combing type metal detector (the type with a disc-shaped detector head on the end of a long pole) indeed found ‘hot spots,’ but these were randomly distributed and not in a regular pattern along lines. Claim: Metal detecting surveys using a ‘molecular frequency generator/discriminator’ mapped out these ‘iron lines,’ which represent longitudinal and cross beams containing iron nails and /or brackets. Reality: Qualified scientists have been independently consulted about this gadget, which is generally advertised in treasure-hunting magazines, not scientific journals. They are unanimous that there are no scientific principles employed. Claim: The pattern of ‘iron lines’ that was located by the metal detecting surveys and marked out by plastic tape was duplicated and verified by other subsurface techniques including ground penetrating, or subsurface interface, radar surveys. Reality: This claim is utterly false, yet it has been persistently used to give credence to diagrams purporting to show the internal structure of a boat, namely Noah’s Ark. Claim: In the walls that define the outline of the boat-shape is evidence of a former ship’s ribs, presumably the timbers that formed part of the original keel structure/hull. Reality: These walls are simply hardened mud, containing boulders of the various local rock types. They contain no petrified wood holding in the mud in any way reminiscent of the outer planking of a wooden hulled vessel. Claim: There are trainloads and boatloads of petrified wood out there and it is all in the boat structure. Reality: No trained scientist of the many who have visited the site has ever seen any sign of these ‘trainloads’ of petrified wood. Geologist Dr. Bayraktutan has collected one or two small fragments of semi-petrified wood which in his opinion have flowed on to the site within the mud from elsewhere. He confirms that none of the regular rock types of the site are petrified wood. Claim: Soil samples from the site indicate the residue of a decayed wooden vessel with sophisticated metals used for bracing Reality: It is true that the samples contained iron, aluminum, titanium and carbon, but such elements are always to be found in soils. Claim: Some pitch has been found (pitch was used to cover the inside and outside of the Ark’s wooden structure) at the site. Reality: No sample containing pitch has been openly produced and submitted for proper scientific analyses. Claim: A rusted metal bracket and other fittings and metal artifacts, including a ‘petrified rivet’ and ‘washer structures,’ have all been located ‘on the site.’ Reality: Results do not show any evidence of exotic metallurgy. Claim: Rocks found within the formation have a high manganese content and an appearance that suggests that they were probably ‘tailings’/’slag’ from metal smelting/refining production by Noah and family. Reality: No microscope thin section has been produced to show whether the samples collected and claimed to be slag do in fact have the internal texture and mineral composition of a true slag. Claim: Positively identified animal coprolite (fossilized animal dung), animal hair, and ‘animal antlers’ are all reported from the site and are thus further confirmation that this site contains the remains of Noah’s Ark. Reality: The finding of such animal residues in association with the site is hardly surprising when one considers that animals are likely to have roamed across these Turkish hillsides for thousands of years. I feel what you mean, but you should know that zoos aren't the evil that Sea World and circuses are. Zoos and zoological societies frequently reintroduce species back into the wild. Very often the animals trapped and transported to zoos have been captured for their own good, especially in war-torn African and South American countries. The National Geographic and Jane Goodall societies work closely with zoos and wildlife preserves.

Amazing Replica of the Ark, but there are some things in this ark along with the information that differs from the Bible Account, which gives to us true and accurate information about the flood. However, for those people who laugh and scoff, that the flood didn't happen? Well, go read your bibles folks, because the world we live in is in a mess just as it was in the days of Noah. And just as God brought His mini judgement on the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, so it is, He will destroy the wicked and this earth by fire. But those who walk in obedience to His WILL, that's who Jesus is coming back to get soon who will He Jesus Will take to heaven with him. Read....Read....your bible!

I love watching Atheists squirm when confronted with the truth reality science. That is why I love the Ark encounter... #atheists have a hard time explaining the reality in regards to geology. They can’t explain adequately coal formations and why there are corals and shells fossil layers below and above these Carboniferous layers... they deny the flood of Noah’s Day In spite of the massive amounts geological evidence that supports a global flood. Hey dickweeds, the story of Noah's Ark and the global flood are just fictional stories in Hebrew mythology. And the INVISIBLE God is just a character in Hebrew mythology just as Thor was in Viking mythology and Zeus was in Roman mythology. Religions are money making scams that prey on their gullible followers for their donation dollars of which 85% goes into the pockets of the church's owners as their untraceable TAX FREE income.
